Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
* Prepare high-quality meals while adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
* Manage food production processes, including inventory control and ordering supplies.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen environment.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food preparation, and safety practices.
* Collaborate with management on menu planning and development to enhance the dining experience.
* Foster a positive team atmosphere through effective communication and leadership.
Experience
* Proven experience in a Chef role or similar position within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
* Previous supervisory or team management experience is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen environment.
* Excellent leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring others in the culinary field.
