Due to our ongoing success and expansion, we are excited to offer a Bathroom Design & Sales Trainee position at our Amersham branch.
The Role
The primary focus of the Bathroom Design & Sales Trainee is to train in serving customers and assist with branch operations. You will complete learning activities and targets, with training scheduled in advance. You will also manage your own customer appointments, designs, sales, and aftercare.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Learn the day-to-day operations of the showroom while building strong customer relationships and influencing the sales process.
2. Understand the merchanting business by learning various Showroom Designer roles within the branch.
3. Complete all training objectives to successfully finish the program.
4. Develop product knowledge through in-house training and supplier roadshows.
5. Handle customer queries professionally and efficiently, managing the full sales process from start to finish. Prepare and conduct effective meetings with customers in the showroom or on-site.
6. Learn to execute and coordinate bathroom sales, achieving sales targets. Maintain an individual lead database and discuss leads and progress with the Showroom Manager.
7. Place customer orders directly with suppliers following company procedures and manage customer expectations regarding timelines.
The Requirements
1. Good verbal communication skills with customers and colleagues.
2. Ability to follow instructions effectively.
3. Organized in prioritizing workload.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Maintain good knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures.
The Hours
Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 17:15, and alternate Saturdays, 08:00 to 12:00.
