Pay Rate: £120 - £232.56 per day (depending on experience)
A friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Halewood is seeking a motivated and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their dedicated team. With a strong emphasis on preparing children for their transition to secondary education, the school offers a broad and balanced curriculum alongside a range of enrichment opportunities.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for delivering high-quality teaching to a Year 6 class, ensuring pupils achieve their full academic potential and are well prepared for the next stage of their education. This role requires someone who is skilled in differentiating learning, managing a busy classroom, and building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues. The Year 6 Teacher will also contribute to the wider school community and support whole-school initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for all children.
The ideal candidate will:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Be confident in preparing pupils for SATs
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management and high expectations for pupil behaviour and achievement
* Be able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of a diverse cohort
* Work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with parents and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
