We’re looking for an experienced engineer to help us develop cutting-edge products that meet the needs of fitness enthusiasts around the world.
The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering, product design engineering or similar, combined with an active interest in strength & fitness.
Our HQ is based in Norwich. We are happy to look at relocation options for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop new products from concept to production, ensuring they meet quality, performance and cost targets.
* Utilise CAD software to create detailed designs and technical drawings.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure product designs are feasible and meet customer needs.
* Conduct research and analysis to identify customer needs and market trends.
* Prototype and test new designs, making necessary adjustments based on feedback and test results.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
* Provide technical support to the customer service team for after sales care.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering or similar.
* Proven experience in design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
* Experience working with steel and metalwork, including knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Strong project management skills.
