Job Description Warehouse Team Leader Location: Ashford, Surrey Salary: Up to £31,900 per annum Start Date: ASAP Shifts: Rotating weekly – 8:00am–4:30pm / 9:30am–6:00pm (Occasional 5:00am start during training to learn unloading) Split: 50% Office | 50% On the Warehouse Floor Ready to step up and take ownership? This is a role for someone who can balance leadership with action - motivating the team one minute and being out on the floor the next. You’ll support the Warehouse Operations Manager in driving performance, maintaining high standards, and ensuring everything runs like clockwork. What You’ll Be Doing - Driving Daily Operations Oversee day-to-day warehouse activity and maximise staff and space efficiency Allocate workloads and keep operations on track Step up in the manager’s absence Owning Stock & Accuracy Manage Goods In, Goods Out, Quarantine & RMAs Maintain accurate system records and documentation Lead cycle counts and weekly/monthly/annual stock checks Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions Support audits and provide customer inventory reports Ensuring Safe & Correct Dispatch Oversee loading/unloading procedures Ensure every outbound load is correct, secure, damage-free and driver-ready Maintain high Health & Safety and ISO standards Improving & Inspiring Identify process improvements Maintain excellent housekeeping standards Motivate, coach and develop your team Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams What You’ll Bring Strong IT and warehouse systems knowledge Solid stock control and reporting experience Commercial awareness and customer-facing experience Proven people management skills Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation Counterbalance Forklift licence (essential) Reach Truck (desirable) Powered Pedestrian Truck (training provided) Why Join?
