What you will do:
As our Consulting Sales Engineer IREF: Nordics, you’ll be at the heart of our growth strategy—cultivating valuable relationships with consultants and other stakeholders, and ensuring Johnson Controls’ pioneering technologies remain at the forefront of industry projects. Based in Holme, Denmark. You will act as the technical interface between Sabroe/Johnson Controls, consulting engineers, and end users. With your commercial and technical mindset you will engage early in project dialogues to shape solutions, advising on how Sabroe/Johnson Controls products address system requirements, performance expectations, and application-specific challenges across a range of industrial refrigeration projects.
The role is client-facing, with close collaboration across internal sales and engineering teams. You will be based on-site in Hornslet approximately 1–2 days per week and will weekly be having visits outside the office.
How you will do it:
1. Engage with consultants, end-users & other stakeholders in the Industrial Refrigeration & Heat Pump industry with key focus being consultants
2. Leverage technical knowledge to ensure the specification of Johnson Controls products. Including preparing & managing proposals to meet customers’ application and operational needs
3. Drive customer engagement, develop relationships, and foster a strong network within the industry
4. Collaborate & support our sales team to identify opportunities
5. Ownership of delivering of our value proposition to stakeholders and decision-makers
What we look for:
6. A degree within relevant fields of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
7. 5+ years of experience ideally within Consulting, Technical Sales, Design, or Application within the Industrial Refrigeration & Heat Pump industry
8. Strong technical subject matter and market trends expertise and interest
9. Commercial attitude to establish partnership with customers
10. Strong teamwork attitude
11. Exceptional presentation skills with a focus on results
12. Self-motivated and tenacious with a customer-focused approach
13. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
14. Willing to travel approx. 10-30 days per year
15. Fluency in Danish and English
