We're an advertising agency based in London, that partner with globally recognized brands across a multitude of sectors. We produce content for a range of channels, including OOH, Print, Digital, Social and lots more.
Role in the Client Agency Relationship:
• Invest time and energy in developing close and productive client relationship with Client counterparts.
• Front meetings without Account Director, as required.
• Ensure all Agency communications are to ‘house’ format.
• Ensure contact reports and status reports are issued accurately.
• Ensure Client confidentiality is maintained by all members of the team.
• Be resourceful in meeting Client requests – diplomatically question and challenge
unrealistic ones!
Developing Internal Relationships and People Management Skills
• Successfully and appropriately delegate or ‘manage up’. Fully and responsibly debrief Founders/ECDs on status and development as required.
• Be clear about what every department does and keep everyone talking productively.
•Deliver a positive, creative collaboration approach within agency.
• Have really firm grip on the stages of: TVC, Press, Digital, Production etc.
• Work on pitches and lead other projects, as required
What Marketing Skills are needed?
• Have a strong understanding of Client’s marketing plan/targets/objectives.
• Have a thorough understanding of Competitive Market – Category, Brand, Strategic Implications.
• Understand the role of other marketing communication eg PR, in Client plans.
Creative Skills.
• Front basic creative briefing meetings with Client (e.g. amends, smaller projects)
• Contribute during major creative briefing meetings with Client (e.g. new campaign)
• Distinguish between a good Client brief and a poor Client brief – know what questions to ask.
• Understand how to use consumer insights to provide inspiration to Creatives/ Media.
• Be proactive in helping inspire creative teams and get involved in creative briefings.
• Constructively and positively judge creative ideas in terms of factual accuracy and relevance to selling the work.
Strategic Skills
• Attend research debriefs and contribute to subsequent discussions.
• Have a thorough understanding of your brands’ conceptual target audience and those of the competitors.
• Understand that advertising is a business and how it makes and loses money eg. implications of write offs!
• Ensure prompt and efficient billing and understand its effect on agency cash-flow.
• Take full responsibility for accurate Cost Estimate of all activity on the account.
• Ensure that estimates are understood and approved/PO’d by Client – be able to
explain and justify all the elements on an estimate to Client.
• Control Client budget efficiently and carefully (i.e. advising Clients of eventual or
possible overspends in advance, or financial implications of their decisions)
