ManpowerGroup Inc. is working with a leading food manufacturer based in Bradford, known for their commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. As they continue to grow, our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Credit Controller to support their finance team during a busy period to start Immediately!
As Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the sales ledger, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
This role is vital to maintaining healthy cash flow and supporting the wider finance function. Our client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
1. Location: Bradford (Onsite)
2. Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 5:00pm; Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
3. Contract: Full-time, Temporary (3 Months)
4. Pay Rate: £14.19 per hour PAYE!
5. Start: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:
9. Manage and maintain the sales ledger
10. Chase overdue payments via phone and email
11. Allocate and reconcile incoming payments
12. Issue customer statements and invoices
13. Monitor credit limits and assess creditworthiness
14. Resolve invoice queries and manage customer inbox
15. Support month-end reporting and assist with management accounts
16. Liaise with internal departments to resolve payment issues
17. Release orders based on credit status
Requirements:
18. Proven experience in credit control (minimum 3 years preferred)
19. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
20. Experience with Sage 200 or similar accounting software
21. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
22. High attention to detail and ability to work independently
23. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
