Role Overview:
Cardo Group is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support our operations across Scotland. This hybrid role with travel between multiple offices in Scotland with the main office based in Livingston. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive performance, standardisation, and innovation across our group of companies
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with Heads of Department for the successful delivery of key projects.
* Analyse data related to new projects and contract scopes to support system development.
* Assist in the development of key performance measures to monitor and improve operational efficiency.
* Ensure business processes are accurately documented through clear process maps.
* Conduct audits of IT processes and SharePoint ISO structures, providing actionable insights to contract teams.
* Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and standardisation across Cardo Group companies.
* Manage system change requests, ensuring value-added enhancements are deployed effectively across the organisation.
* Work with Systems Analysts to ensure training materials are up-to-date and accessible for system rollouts.
* Review and refine IT requirements using lean thinking to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Support the business in meeting client requirements for systems, processes, and data reporting.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in a business analyst role, ideally within a project or systems-focused environment.
* Strong data analysis and process improvement skills.
* Experience in auditing IT processes and implementing system changes.
* Experience supporting system development and process improvement initiatives.
* Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
* Familiarity with SharePoint, ISO standards, and project delivery methodologies.
* Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement strategies.
* Able to interpret complex data and identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
* Meticulous in reviewing data, processes, and documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
* A team player who builds strong working relationships and works well in cross-functional teams.
* Takes initiative, works independently, and sees projects through to completion
