The Role
An established and growing consultancy is seeking a Head of Building Surveying (MRICS) to lead and develop its Building Surveying offering in Bristol.
This is a key strategic leadership role, offering the opportunity to build, shape and grow a regional team, while delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sectors.
You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, developing client relationships and establishing the consultancy as a market leader within the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading and growing the Building Surveying team in Bristol
* Setting and delivering the regional Building Surveying strategy
* Driving business development, securing new clients and expanding existing relationships
* Leading major projects and overseeing delivery across the team
* Managing financial performance including forecasting, revenue and cost control
* Developing and implementing best practice procedures and technical standards
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
* Collaborating with senior leadership to support wider business growth
* Mentoring, managing and developing team members at all levels
* Promoting sustainability and innovation across all service lines
Candidate Applicants will be able to demonstrate:
* MRICS qualified (essential)
* Significant experience within Building Surveying consultancy
* Proven track record in leading teams and growing a business unit or region
* Strong business development capability with an established network
* Experience managing financial performance and contributing to strategy
* Excellent leadership, communication and client-facing skills
* Commercially astute with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
* Strong technical Building Surveying knowledge across both professional and project services
