GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join schools in the Rotherham area. As a Maths Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils’ numeracy, problem-solving, and analytical skills, while building their confidence in mathematics and inspiring them to reach their full academic potential. Responsibilities as a Maths Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages. Support students in developing problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical skills. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages progress and achievement. Assess pupil attainment, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to raising standards. Collaborate with colleagues to design engaging resources and strategies for effective learning. Ensure strong classroom management while promoting respect and responsibility. Requirements for Maths Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics. Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to support pupils of varying abilities. A genuine enthusiasm for inspiring students to enjoy and excel in Maths. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
