Job Description
Successful applicant will be required to support the Day Service Manager in providing effective leadership and management of the Learning Disability Day Centre.
The recommended candidate will ensure the health and safety of the service users and building, and supervise and carry out Personal Development Plans with Support and Inclusion Workers to develop their skills and knowledge through training courses.
He/she will also carry out duty Team Leader responsibilities as required by the service; manage the assessment and case management of a range of service users; develop, maintain and review service users care plans ensuring their wellbeing and to Chair and carry service users reviews in line with legislative requirements.
You will be required to liaise with partner agencies and colleagues within the Department.
Applicants must have knowledge of activity building and programming, and of Adult Support and Protection, and how concerns are raised in line with organisational procedure.
Previous experience of working with vulnerable adults is essential, SVQ III and / or HNC or equivalent is desirable.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
