We are looking for a resilient, high-energy Outdoor Education Teacher to join our Alternative Provision (AP) in Burnley. This is a unique "train-to-lead" opportunity. While you will spend some time in the classroom helping students bridge the gap between theory and practice, your primary "office" will be the local woodlands and trails. You will work with young people who have found mainstream education challenging, using the outdoors to build their resilience, confidence, and self-esteem. Key Responsibilities DofE Award Training: Lead and coordinate Duke of Edinburgh's Award programs, from initial session planning to expedition training. Outdoor Curriculum: Deliver engaging lessons in bushcraft, navigation, and conservation tailored for students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.
