Job Description:
This role is based out of our Holborn, Coventry, or Manchester Store Support Centre & Home.
It involves partnering with financial operations, finance transformation, and commercial transformation leadership teams to provide analysis, challenge, and influence on our SAP programme. You will act as business process owner for financial operations, embedding yourself in current processes and controls while developing new technology assets. You will also set direction and provide strategic challenge to the Finance and Commercial Transformation programmes.

* Partner with Finance Operations and Transformation Leadership to articulate and document requirements and processes in line with governance.
* Participate in project management, governance, issue resolution, and steering the programme agenda.
* Identify issues, risks, and opportunities with stakeholders; prioritize and escalate as needed.
* Provide external perspectives and benchmark requirements to challenge and influence.
* Lead and support the Finance Operations team, driving operational reset and future reporting/data needs.
* Gather and manage requirements for accounting and reporting tools, processes, and data for projects and changes.
* Ensure thorough and auditable programme documentation for transparency and reporting.
* Design financial operations reporting for transition and end states, ensuring efficiency and suitability.
* Collaborate with tech and data teams to design transition/end states, aligning resources and priorities.
* Work with change teams to describe impacts and develop training for senior teams and end users.
More about you
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
* Experience with finance systems project work is essential.
* Good understanding of relational data, SQL, ERP systems.
* Strong financial controls and compliance knowledge.
* Commercial acumen and focus on financial performance.
* Leadership skills supporting team development.
* Effective communicator, capable of engaging stakeholders up to board level.
* Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills.
* Self-motivated, autonomous worker.
* Ability to prioritize effectively and manage conflicts.
* Committed to driving change and managing associated conflicts.
