Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner – BANK
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join our acute and community teams to work within our Hywel Dda community. This is a Hywel Dda wide advert covering Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.
You will have experience of using highly skilled handling techniques to facilitate patient movement, and/or rehabilitation. You will work with others in the team in the delivery of rehabilitation to adults in the acute and community environment, helping them to work towards functional independence. Aspects of the role will include completion of relevant administrative duties and lone domiciliary working.
You should be able to demonstrate clinical reasoning skills to enable you to assess and treat.
* Engage well with patients and work under supervision as well as independently.

* Assist in rehabilitation of adults in the acute and community environments.
* Complete relevant administrative duties.
* Conduct lone domiciliary working.
* Travel timely within the Hywel Dda University Health Board area.
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in physiotherapy or related field.
* Relevant experience working in rehabilitation in a physical health care setting.
* Ability to demonstrate clinical reasoning skills.
* Willingness to travel within the Hywel Dda University Health Board area.
* Desirable to speak Welsh; English and/or Welsh speakers welcome.
