Are you an experienced L&D Specialist looking for an opportunity where you can make a difference?

If so, we would love to hear from you!

We are one of the largest independent operators of crematoria in the UK, supported by almost 500 empathetic and dedicated individuals and we are growing. We have more than 42 sites across the country and 3 business areas.

This is a remote / hybrid role with travel to attend meetings / for training as required each month (2-3 times on average but this will vary so flexibility is key). Our key office spaces for face-to-face training are located in Bristol and Cannock so the ability to travel to these locations and other venues is important.

Like many of our colleagues, you might not have considered our sector before, however it’s an opportunity to become a part of something truly meaningful and significant.

The role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences, building relationships across a business and supporting colleagues to learn, grow and develop.

First point of contact for training queries and requests. Managing the L&D inbox and providing advice to colleagues in relation to learning and development.
Managing phased new starter onboarding process, including delivering virtual check in sessions.
LEX - Managing the learning and communications platform and learning experience (Thrive). This will include driving engagement and usage, working with the business to ensure it is up to date with relevant business driving campaigns and regular content audits. You will also deliver organisation wide reporting, oversee mandatory training assignments and stay up to date with new digital enhancements to optimise the end user experience.
E-learning creation - Working with stakeholders and SMEs to design in-house eLearning modules and other learning materials.
