Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with strong NEC contract management expertise, proven aviation sector experience, and a demonstrable track record in delivering complex baggage handling systems within live airport environments.
The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary delivery team spanning commercial, PMO, and project engineering functions, while managing key stakeholder relationships to ensure operational impacts are fully agreed and works are delivered safely, efficiently, and seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the phased delivery of the Hold Baggage Screening (HBS) system, managing integrated programmes across:
Baggage system contracts
Enabling works
X-ray suppliers
Multiple technical and operational interfaces
Drive progress through design sign-off, on-site delivery, commissioning, and handover in a live airport environment.
Oversee delivery of the Carousel MUP extension, ensuring successful execution through the baggage contractor.
Manage the installation of 42 new shoreline check-in desks during critical winter work periods, including:
Negotiation and administration of NEC contracts
Coordination of front-of-house and baggage system works
Design approvals, commissioning, and handover
Deliver kiosk relocations required to enable shoreline works.
Coordinate future international baggage reclaim requirements, aligned with wider terminal expansion plans targeting 2029.
Proactively manage stakeholder engagement across airport operations, airlines, suppliers, and internal teams to minimise disruption and maintain operational continuity.
