As our new Service Relationship Manager, sitting in the Service Delivery function, you'll be the face of NHS SBS into NHS clients, supporting them and helping them get the most value from the expanding range of services we provide. You'll be part of NHS SBS - a friendly, collaborative team that's proud to support the NHS and committed to delivering service excellence. You'll build relationships with stakeholders at different levels, helping them understand performance, resolve issues, drive compliance, and identify opportunities for improvement. This position is a combination of home and field based, alongside an expectation to attend meetings at our Salford office once / twice per month or where business needs are required. Your day-to-day role will be primarily home based, but there is an expectation to be on site with our clients at regular intervals. Our modern Salford office sits in an iconic waterfront location positioned on the historic Manchester Ship Canal. What you'll be doing: Building and maintaining authentic relationships with senior and mid-level client stakeholders, acting as their trusted point of contact throughout the service lifecycle. Bringing to life service delivery performance against SLAs and proactively demonstrating achievements to clients. Delivering growth by identifying upsell, cross-sell and minor works opportunities. Proactively identifying service issues, before owning and driving improvements in collaboration with clients and internal teams. Working closely with internal delivery teams, using insight and best practice to drive positive outcomes collaboratively. Managing service complaints, identifying trends and working with stakeholders to implement solutions. Ensuring client adherence to best practice and embedding service consumption models effectively. What you'll bring: A dynamic, people-first approach to client relationships and internal stakeholder management, with a passion for delivering best-in-class service. Experience in consultative selling through service, driving organic growth across a product portfolio. Proven experience in account management, client relationships or contract management within a shared services or similar environment. Experience identifying and delivering service improvement initiatives. Ability to build strong working relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong understanding of commercial contracts and commercial models. Strong organisational, analytical and time-management skills. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office. It would be great if you had: Experience in public sector service delivery and/or sales in a BPO environment would be beneficial. Knowledge of NHS finance, procurement or HR. AI or data literacy.
