This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Manager or Manager to step into a client-facing role offering strong progression, varied technical exposure, and the chance to make a real impact within a high-performing team. The Role This is a specialist Employment Tax position with a focus on share schemes, benefits, and compliance. You will work closely with a diverse client base, from owner-managed businesses through to large corporates, advising across a broad range of employment tax matters while building expertise in a high-demand and evolving area. What You Will Do Manage a portfolio of clients across employment tax matters Advise on share schemes including EMI, CSOP and other equity-based incentives Oversee and review P11D and benefits-in-kind reporting Provide guidance on PAYE, NIC and wider employment tax compliance Support with HMRC enquiries and investigations Deliver advisory work around remuneration planning and reward structures Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development What's in It for You Clear and structured progression pathway to Manager, Senior Manager and beyond Exposure to high-quality, advisory-led work rather than pure compliance Flexible and hybrid working environment, with a 4-day week option available Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Opportunity to specialise in a growing and highly valuable area of tax Ongoing support with professional development and further qualifications Collaborative, modern and supportive working culture Requirements ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified or nearing completion Strong experience in employment taxes, including P11Ds and benefits Exposure to share schemes (EMI/CSOP) is highly desirable Solid understanding of PAYE and NIC Confident communicator with strong client-facing ability Commercial awareness and an interest in advisory work Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively What's the next step?
