Job Description
Job Purpose
To work in conjunction with the Financial Planning team, and in particular a senior Partner, to maintain and build trusted relationships with current and potential clients. Where appropriate deliver Financial Planning and Wealth Management advice - including interactive cashflow.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
1. To look after and support client needs
2. To build new client relationships and maintain and develop existing client relationships through effective ongoing service to help minimise attrition, and to deliver new instructions and referrals as a result of satisfied clients
3. To ensure clients have the right advice to achieve their financial objectives
4. To ensure client reviews are undertaken at least annually in line with clients’ changing risk attitudes and strategic requirements
5. To work in partnership with Investment Management colleagues to develop client relationships
6. Maintain the New Business Pipeline (NBP) and ensure all values and dates are up to date
7. Ensure comprehensive client records are kept and that these are accurate and up to date at all times and in line with Group policy
8. To strive for no complaints and where they are received ensure that they are raised with the Client Resolution team in a timely fashion and assist in bringing them to a satisfactory resolution
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
9. Ability to deal with new and existing clients on a fee basis Required
10. Ability to understand and communicate advice practices and processes clearly and effectively Required
11. Technical/product knowledge and effective communication of wide ranging holistic financial planning strategies & solutions Required
12. A strong ethic of client service Required
13. Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise work Required
14. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Required
Professional Qualifications and Education
15. Holds a relevant level 4 qualification or above (aspiring for Level 7) and maintains an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing
