Northampton – Up to £26,000 per annum – Depending on Experience

Our market-leading client is currently seeking a Telemarketing Account Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within telemarketing, account management, and business development in a professional B2B environment.
This is a telephone-based account management role, focused on quality conversations and relationship building rather than high call volumes or aggressive sales targets. It is not a call‑centre environment.
Entry-level candidates and individuals from different employment backgrounds will be considered, as full training and ongoing development are provided.
Due to the location, applicants must hold a full driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
Key Duties
* Professionally deliver telemarketing services on behalf of clients in line with agreed project briefs and campaign strategies.
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of each client’s business, including their products, services, target sectors, competitors, culture, and objectives.
* Build and nurture strong, professional relationships with clients.
* Conduct high-quality outbound B2B calls to targeted prospects to identify and generate new business opportunities.
* Arrange qualified meetings between clients and prospective businesses.
* Accurately record call outcomes and maintain up-to-date records using internal systems and databases.
* Complete all administrative duties efficiently and to a high standard.
* Assist in preparing for and attending client review meetings.
* Continuously develop telemarketing, communication, and business development skills.
Required Skills & Experience
* A genuine interest in developing a career within telemarketing and account management.
* Strong communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
* Positive attitude, resilience, and a strong work ethic.
* Good business awareness and professional approach.
* Previous customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
* Sales experience is beneficial but not required.
* IT literate with the ability to complete a short typing test assessing speed and accuracy.
* Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to own vehicle.
