Warehouse & Forklift Operative
We're hiring a hands-on, proactive Warehouse Operative with forklift skills - but we're not looking for someone who just wants to sit on a forklift all day, this will involve manual handling also!
Our client works in the packaging industry and is growing! They are looking for a versatile all-rounder to support daily warehouse operations - someone who takes pride in their work, works well with others, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Pick, pack, receive, and dispatch customer orders
Manual handling and lifting the goods
Operate forklift trucks (pivot steer experience a bonus but training available)
Manage stock with accuracy and care
Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organized
Work closely with other teams to support customer satisfaction✅ Requirements:
Previous warehouse experience preferred
Forklift license preferred (but we can train the right person)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
High attention to detail and reliability
Physically fit and capable of manual handling
UK driving license preferred What's In It For You:
£12.50-£13.50 per hour, based on experience
Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (early finish 3pm on Fridays)
