Role Overview
Rising Ohana's CIC is seeking reliable Seasonal Community & Workshop Support Workers to support the delivery of community-based outreach and workshops for adults and families. This role is non-residential and non-regulated, focused on supporting safe, inclusive, and engaging group sessions.
Key Responsibilities
* Arrive on time and assist with session set-up and preparation
* Support facilitators during workshops and outreach sessions
* Engage participants respectfully and inclusively
* Support individuals with neurodivergent needs, mental health, or complex needs
* Maintain professional boundaries at all times
* Report safeguarding concerns immediately in line with policy
* Assist with tidy-up and pack-down after sessions
Safeguarding Responsibilities
All workers must adhere to Rising Ohana's CIC safeguarding policies, complete mandatory safeguarding training, and report any concerns promptly.
Essential Requirements
* Availability to work 2-hour sessions consistently over several weeks
* Punctual, reliable, and professional
* Enhanced DBS check (Update Service preferred or willingness to obtain)
* Ability to travel to different community venues
* Legal right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
Desirable Experience
* Experience in community outreach or workshop support
* Understanding of neurodiversity, mental health, or complex needs
* Ability to speak an additional language (desirable, not essential)

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
