Customer Implementation Specialist - SQL

Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for customer success? Join Giacom’s growing Professional Services team and help onboard some of the UK’s leading telecom brands to our bespoke billing platforms, aBILLity and Affinity. In this hands-on role, you’ll lead customer onboarding, run data migration workshops, and configure systems to meet unique business needs. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Billing Specialists, and Developers to deliver smooth, secure, and accurate implementations.
Responsibilities
* Setting up and configuring new customer instances of Giacom’s billing platforms.
* Analysing customer source systems and preparing data for migration.
* Running data migration workshops and cleansing, converting, and validating datasets.
* Rolling out new modules and updating customer databases based on bespoke requirements.
* Collaborating with internal teams to improve tools and processes.
* Creating handover documentation and delivering training to customers and colleagues.
Qualifications
* Strong SQL skills — confident writing and interpreting queries.
* Solid experience with Excel and data manipulation.
* Background in telecoms billing platforms or similar enterprise software.
* Excellent communication skills — able to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
* A customer-first mindset with a focus on accuracy and delivery.
