Are you a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner looking for flexible supply work across Newcastle? We are currently seeking reliable and passionate practitioners to support a variety of nurseries and early years settings on a supply basis.

About the Role:
* Job Type: Temporary / supply work with opportunities for ongoing placements
* Location: Nurseries and early years settings across Newcastle
* Hours: Flexible shifts available – full-time, part-time, or term-time
Key Responsibilities:
* Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
* Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
* Promote children’s emotional, social, and educational development
* Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain high standards of care
Requirements:
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
* Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* A flexible, professional, and nurturing approach
* Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate (essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
