Band 2 Health Care Assistant – Acute Medical Assessment Unit
We have a vacancy for a motivated, dynamic band 2 health care assistant on the acute medical assessment unit. This is a fast paced unit for patients with a range of acute medical conditions.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team, undertaking a range of patient care tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Responsibilities
* Assist the registered nurse to deliver a high standard of holistic patient care, ensuring the patients’ dignity and equality is maintained at all times.
* Ensure the principles set out in the fundamentals of care are incorporated into daily practice to ensure high quality service for patients and clients.
* Assist the patients to maintain their own hygiene and personal appearance.
* Perform duties within the plan of care delegated by a qualified practitioner, for which you have the relevant training and assessment.
Qualifications
* Ability to speak Welsh is desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
