Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of Girls Physical Education to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching PE to students across a range of ages and abilities. This position is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about physical education and is eager to contribute to an established, successful, and innovative department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality physical education lessons that cater to a range of abilities and ages.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback that supports improvement and achievement.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new ideas and initiatives within the department.
* Organize and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and current educational trends in physical education.
Requirements:
* A relevant degree in Physical Education or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
* Experience teaching PE to a range of age groups and abilities is desirable.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* A commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to embrace new teaching methodologies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
