As a Senior Safety Case Engineer, you'll manage the delivery of engineering and technical activities, applying process, domain knowledge, and experience. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Developing hazard management strategies and participating in HAZID / HAZOP studies. Authoring radiological safety assessments, including Hazard Management Strategy, Safety Reports (PSRs and PCSRs, etc.) and equivalents. Producing and checking calculations, design basis documentation, and technical reports. Managing the delivery of work undertaken by the Supply Chain, maintaining oversight of progress against cost and schedule, and managing project risks within your remit. Overseeing technical and safety case strategies, sharing best practices between projects. This role is full-time (37 hours per week) with hybrid working options. It can be based in various locations including Bristol, Warrington, and Leicester. Essential experience of the Senior Safety Case Engineer
Chartered Engineer status (or actively working towards it). Experience supporting safety case consultants with daily queries. Demonstrable experience across a variety of tasks and complexities. Good communication skills and ability to interface with other disciplines. Engineering degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, with significant experience.
