Job overview We are recruiting Bank Health Care Assistants to work across the inpatient wards within Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust as an when required. As one of the largest Mental health and learning disability Trust within England we cover a larger geographical area, sites include - Roseberry Park Hospital Middlesbrough, West park Hospital Darlington, Lanchester road Hospital Durham, Bankfield's Court Middlesbrough, Cross Lane hospital Scarborough, Springwood Malton and Foss Park Hospital York. Unfortunatly this role is not eligible for sponsorship. Successful candidates will be required to attend a 5 consecutive day course for positive and safe care Monday - Friday 8:45-4:30 due to this we are unable to accept applications from candidates where working hours are restricted. Detailed job description and main responsibilities This is a unique opportunity work Flexibly on the bank with TEWV which will enable you to work and gain valuable experience within Forensic Services, Learning Disability and Mental Health Services for Adult and Older People, Trust wide. You will be responsible for supporting nursing staff in meeting the needs of services users, working alongside our established workforce delivering all aspects of care to promote choice and client independence. Bank workers are not regular employees and have no entitlement to guaranteed or continuous employment. Please be aware that hours worked on the bank are not transferable to placement hours. You will also not be able to undertake bank work in the same location as your current placement.
