Description
As the Accounts Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
* Ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded
* Responding to invoice queries
* Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc tasks as required
* Assisting with month-end and financial planning processes
* Participating in processing staff expenses
* Reviewing aged debtor reports
* Ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations
* Assisting with financial data entry tasks
* Ad-hoc support to the Finance team in Lewes
Profile
A Successful Accounts Assistant Should Have
* Proficiency in financial software programs
* Experience working in a similar role - Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper etc.
* A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
