Our Story
Manchester City Women is an English football club initially founded by City in the Community in 1988. Relaunched through a formal partnership with Manchester City FC, MCWFC joined the FA Women’s Super League and became professional in 2014. The team has achieved success in the FAWSL, Women’s FA Cup, and Continental Tyres League Cup, and has regularly competed in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
The team plays its home fixtures at Joie Stadium, a 7,000-capacity arena located on the Etihad Campus, which also includes the City Football Academy, a state-of-the-art training and development facility for women’s, men’s, and academy teams.

Our Winning Team
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven coach to join our Girls Academy, supporting the development of talented young players. You will primarily work with a designated age group (U9–U14) and collaborate closely with the wider Academy coaching team to deliver a cohesive player pathway.
Your key responsibilities include delivering and adapting the coaching curriculum in line with the Club’s playing philosophy, working within the coaches’ competency framework, engaging in ongoing CPD training, and liaising with Lead Phase Coaches to facilitate smooth transitions between age groups. You will also contribute to multi-disciplinary planning to ensure holistic development across the programme.

What we are looking for
* Minimum FA Level 2 / UEFA C Licence, with a preference for UEFA B Licence
* FA Youth Award and FA Advanced Youth Award
* EFAiF (Emergency First Aid in Football) qualification
