Role Overview:
This is more than just a finance role! We're looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and impactful energy to support the senior team in making informed decisions. As a Finance Manager, you will:
Provide reliable financial reporting and control
Manage cashflow and forecasting
Oversee transactional activities
Improve financial processes and act as a trusted advisor
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Financial Reporting and Control
Prepare monthly management accounts
Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
Review costs and expenditure, identifying areas for control and efficiency
Prepare and complete year-end accounts
🔹 Cashflow and Forecasting
Prepare and maintain weekly cashflow forecasts
Monitor cash position and short-term liquidity
Highlight risks and variances to management
🔹 Transactional Oversight
Oversee payroll processing
Prepare and submit VAT returns
Ensure timely processing of core finance activities
🔹 General Finance Support
Improve basic financial processes and controls where required
Act as a trusted finance point of contact for the business
Provide ad hoc financial insight as needed
Experience and Skills Required:
Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks
Experience in monthly management accounts and cashflow forecasts
Payroll and VAT expertise
Year-end accounts preparation experience
Strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach
Ability to work independently
