Multi Trader / Wet Room / Bathroom Fitter
Our client, Marlowe, is looking for an experienced Multi Trader with a background in bathroom installations and level access shower adaptations (wet rooms) to join their growing team.

Typical Day-to-Day Activities
Typical duties involved in level access adaptations include:
1. Strip outs: Isolating hot and cold feeds, removing existing baths, tiles, and flooring
2. First fix plumbing: Routing existing pipework out of the wet area and installing new cold feeds to showers
3. Making good walls for tiling: Dry lining or bonding walls
4. Studwork: Building stud walls where required to house pipework and electrics
5. Fitting Tuff Form trays: Cutting out floorboards to facilitate installation of Tuff Form trays, gravity waste runs, and connections
6. Preparing subfloors: Laying 6mm plywood overlay to remaining floor areas
7. Wall tiling: Approximately 10m of tiling within wet areas plus splashback tiling to basins (average tile size 250mm x 250mm)
8. Removing and refitting existing WCs to facilitate installation of new safety flooring
