We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to join our NHS client in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality psychiatric care across inpatient, Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), and CAMHS settings
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for children and adolescents
* Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service development
* Offer clinical supervision and support to junior medical staff
* Ensure full compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and other relevant legislation
Qualifications & Experience
* Full GMC registration
* Section 12 approval
* Extensive experience in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, particularly in inpatient and community settings
* Proven experience in a Consultant-level role
