As part of the team, the qualified post holder will have developed knowledge, experience, and competency in specialised anatomical pathology techniques. The primary responsibilities include carrying out both routine and advanced post mortem procedures, including the preparation of the deceased for viewing, autopsy, and police identification. The post holder will provide specialist advice to users of the service both within and outside the Trust, in a manner sensitive to the nature of the work. Trainees will be trained to work towards these responsibilities.

Qualifications
* 3 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
Experience
* Experience in a healthcare setting or funeral service

* Good verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to lift/move heavy loads and operate equipment
