Gillespie Recruitment are supporting a well-established mental health organisation to recruit a Trainer to join their team on a part-time, permanent basis (17.5 hours per week, negotiable).
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering and coordinating wellbeing training programmes for local organisations, businesses, and community groups – supporting positive mental health and emotional wellbeing across the region.
The Role
As the organisation’s Trainer, you will take the lead on the delivery and coordination of training programmes, wellbeing workshops, and educational sessions that promote awareness and understanding of mental health. You’ll also liaise with employers, community partners, and stakeholders to develop opportunities, manage logistics, and ensure the smooth running of each session.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering engaging training sessions and wellbeing workshops to a range of audiences.
* Coordinating scheduling, administration, and logistics for training programmes.
* Building relationships with employers and community organisations to promote opportunities.
* Supporting the development of new training materials and evaluation processes.
* Monitoring participant feedback and outcomes to inform future delivery.
* Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality, and equality policies.
* Maintaining accurate records of attendance, evaluations, and impact data.

You’ll be an enthusiastic, confident communicator with a passion for promoting positive mental health and helping others learn and grow.
You will have:
* Experience delivering training or workshops, ideally within wellbeing, education, or mental health.
* Strong presentation and communication skills.
* Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
* A genuine passion for mental health awareness and community wellbeing.
Desirable:
* Qualification in training, education, counselling, or mental health support.
* Knowledge of mental health first aid or wellbeing initiatives.
* Experience within the voluntary, education, or healthcare sectors.
