The Role As SENCO, you will take strategic responsibility for SEND provision across the school. You will ensure that students with additional needs receive high-quality, targeted support and that statutory requirements are fully met. Key responsibilities include: Leading and developing the school’s SEND strategy Coordinating EHCPs and individual support plans Monitoring progress and implementing effective interventions Supporting and training teaching staff to embed inclusive practice Liaising with parents, external agencies, and senior leadership You will play a key role in promoting high expectations and ensuring all students can access the curriculum successfully.
