Maintenance Engineer
Up to £44,000 per annum
Shifts: 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm, Monday to Friday
Permanent position near South Petherton

Role Overview
As a Maintenance Engineer, you play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of the daily manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance as required.
Supporting the Engineering management with continuous improvement programmes.
Prioritising engineering issues to minimise downtime.
Completing all documentation in a timely manner.
Assisting with facilities maintenance and development.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience in a similar position, ideally within a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Additionally, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
BTEC National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
City & Guilds in TIG/MIG wielding.
BS7671 Wiring Regulations (18th Edition preferred).
PAT testing certificate.
Excellent IT skills, including MS packages or ERP systems.
Previous experience working in a GMP regulated facility or similar (BRC, ISO 9001, BETA NOPS) is preferred.
