Join our Command Centre at Hillview House, Belfast, as a IT Workshop Engineer and be at the heart of our device build and repair operation. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys fault‑finding, device imaging and working with hardware at pace. You'll take ownership of workshop tasks and customer imaging projects, collaborating with wider operational teams to ensure services are delivered accurately and on time.
What we are looking for:
* Experience of working in a similar hands on IT repair role
* Strong logical thinking skills, with the ability to quickly identify and implement appropriate remedial actions.
* Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Able to work independently using own initiative, with minimal supervision.
* Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Works effectively as part of a team.
* Motivated and eager to develop and grow technical skills.
What you'll be doing:
* Repair and re-image customer IT equipment in line with service requirements.
* Repair spare parts to ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained for future customer calls.
* Work closely with support teams, including Logistics, Resource Scheduling and Field Teams, to ensure SLAs are met.
* Check manufacturers' warranty information to maximise free‑of‑charge (FOC) spare parts and recover labour costs where applicable.
* Build and maintain knowledge of multiple manufacturers and their respective warranty processes.
* Image and customise customer devices to meet specific customer requirements.
* Liaise with wider teams (e.g. Logistics, Schedulers and Field Teams) to resolve customer queries effectively.
* Provide technical support for small and large projects when required.
