We have an opportunity to join our Product Support Engineering Team, supporting the in-service performance of Power Distribution products to the global military sector. As a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, you would join our team in Cheltenham, solving problems and driving improvements to our products in service.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
* Reliability trend analysis and corrective action planning
* FRACAS
* Responsible for driving the overall planning, management and completion of all customer technical queries assigned.
* Lead for customer technical issues and Investigation of in-service failures
* Technical presentations at technical review meetings
* Act as the lead on all technical issues and overseeing Field Service Engineers activities as appropriate for assigned products.
* Provide liaison and support on technical issues to the various GE departments and sites in the UK and overseas.
* Support the activities of the Safety Product Management Team
* Maintain and develop a detailed knowledge of the product.
* Maintain a relationship with customer facing teams, product leads and program teams.
* Support the customer in the field, in the UK and overseas, through modification programmes and dedicated technical support visits.
* Monitor the performance of GE Product, to identify problem areas and make recommendations and take actions to affect a solution.
* Maintenance and approval of design and fielded technical documents including CMM's/Service Bulletins.
With time and experience, you will be coached through attaining airworthiness authorisations to be able to approve changes to products.
Required Qualifications
Problem solving is at the core of what we do. You will be qualified to Degree or above in an electronic discipline or have an equivalent relevant level of experience and knowledge. An understanding of power product operation is a must and you will be comfortable with using engineering drawings, schematics and specifications. Problems never come one at a time, so you must demonstrate that you can manage multiple projects, all the while ensuring that attention to detail and adherence to regulations are maintained.
