Family Solicitor - Associate Level - Bristol
We're looking for an experienced Family Solicitor to join a highly regarded Private Law Children and Domestic Abuse team based in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on emotionally significant cases, deliver exceptional client care, and help shape the future of the department.
You'll be trusted to manage a mix of legal aid and private files, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the team's growth through business development.
What you'll be doing:
* Handling a varied caseload of private law children and domestic abuse matters
* Delivering clear, commercially astute advice with empathy and professionalism
* Building credibility with clients and managing expectations around outcomes, risk, and timescales
* Supporting junior team members and contributing to a collaborative team culture
* Engaging in networking, marketing, and sector development activities
What we're looking for:
* A qualified solicitor or legal executive with 5+ years' experience in family law
* Strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage files independently
* Excellent client management and communication skills
* A proactive, organised approach with the ability to mentor junior colleagues
* Someone who's ready to raise their profile and contribute to the team's reputation
