Core Responsibilities
1. Delivering high-impact lessons that balance Physical Geography (tectonics, glaciation, coastal processes) with Human Geography (globalization, changing urban environments, economic development).
2. Leading local and residential fieldwork opportunities, ensuring students develop practical skills in data collection, analysis, and cartography.
3. Preparing Year 11 and Year 13 students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, with a particular focus on evaluative writing and the interpretation of complex geographical data.
4. Enhancing students' graphical and statistical literacy, teaching them to analyze climate graphs, population pyramids, and choropleth maps.
5. Leading extracurricular initiatives such as an "Eco-Council," sustainability projects, or geography-themed debate clubs.

The Successful Candidate We are looking for a specialist who can make global concepts feel local and relevant. Requirements include:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Geography or a related Environmental Science discipline.
* A proven ability to motivate students of all abilities, fostering a genuine curiosity about the world and its diverse cultures.
* Strong subject knowledge across the current GCSE and A-Level specifications (e.g., AQA, Edexcel, or OCR).
