We are seeking a confident andpassionate HR Advisor to join our clients team. You will provide high‑quality, proactive HR advice and support to managers across the organisation, acting as a key point of contact for a wide range of people‑related issues.
Working closely with the HR Business Partner, you will ensure a consistent, professional, and values‑driven service. You’ll manage a varied employee relations caseload, support organisational initiatives, and help to build a positive and inclusive workplace culture through effective coaching,munication, and case management.
Key Responsibilities
People Advisory & Casework
1. Act as a first point of contact for professional advice on employment policies, procedures, legislation, terms and conditions, and a broad range of people matters.
2. Provide timely and practical guidance, ensuring consistent interpretation and application of organisational policies.
3. Manage a caseload of employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, sickness absence, and other conduct or employment issues.
4. Support the reduction of sickness absence through active case management, including facilitating Occupational Health referrals and advising on wellbeing initiatives and workplace adjustments.
5. Conduct or support sensitive and challenging conversations relating to absence, welfare issues, investigations, and presenting evidence at disciplinary hearings (includingplex or distressing cases).
6. Guide managers to produce accurate, high‑quality oue letters and reports in line with best practice.
Coaching & Leadership Support
7. Provide guidance that enables managers to lead fair, effective, andpassionate employment processes.
8. Escalate lessons or emerging risks promptly to the HR Business Partner.
Partnership Working
9. Build strong working relationships with managers, teams, and stakeholders to support timely case resolution and enhance the employee experience.
10. Liaise with subject matter experts and line managers to resolve employment matters efficiently.
11. Work collaboratively with Trade Union representatives,municating and consulting appropriately, especially when navigatingplex or emotive situations.
