We are looking for a Program Manager to manage a cross-functional team of both experienced professionals and team leaders; manage medium-sized programme or multiple smaller programmes; monitor strategic planning efforts; present progress reports; recommend proactive solutions for programme problems; manage the P&L; manage sub-tier suppliers; support contract negotiationWhat you will doLeads programmes to ensure adherence to programme plans, schedules and budgets in an Integrated Program Team working with Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Commercial, Finance, Quality, Aftermarket and Business DevelopmentManages the P&L of the programmes to ensure profitability targets are met and manages multiple sub-tier suppliersDevelops milestones, programme plans, schedules and budgets to ensure that the organisation’s objectives are metConsolidates and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the programmesMonitors strategic planning efforts for and proactively drives programmesDemonstrates continuous improvement initiatives to optimise efficiency and qualityIdentifies and reacts to programme problems and recommends solutions, such as allocation of resources, changing contractual specifications or coordinating responses to customer action itemsSupports the development of new business opportunitiesActs as internal and external customer focalSupports the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, including coordinating preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operation budgets, specification and financial conditions of contracts to ensure legal compliance and to protect interestsManages programme scope increase or decrease via change management processesIs a change agent to drive continuous improvements in a highly challenging environmentSize and Scope InformationFocuses on tactical and operational plans with short-to-medium term focus, e.g. less than 1 – 2 yearsProblems faced may be difficult to moderately completeInfluences others outside of job area regarding policies, practices and proceduresWe are a flexible working employer and welcome the opportunity to discuss flexibility requirements with our applicants.
