Tinnitus UK is the national charity dedicated to improving the lives of people living with tinnitus. Through trusted information and support, research partnerships, professional education, awareness campaigns and advocacy, we support more than 250,000 people each year.
Following a period of significant organisational development, we are entering an exciting new phase. With strengthened finances, an ambitious 10-year strategy and growing influence across the hearing health sector, we are seeking an experienced and values-driven Chief Executive Officer to lead our next chapter.
Working closely with the Board of Trustees, you will provide strategic leadership for the charity, ensuring we remain financially sustainable, influential and responsive to the needs of people living with tinnitus.
About the role
As Chief Executive Officer, you will:
* Lead delivery of Tinnitus UK's strategy and long-term vision
* Provide inspiring leadership to a talented and committed staff team
* Work closely with the Board of Trustees to ensure strong governance and organisational performance
* Strengthen financial sustainability and support income growth across fundraising, partnerships, membership and training
* Represent Tinnitus UK externally with funders, policymakers, researchers, healthcare professionals and sector partners
* Champion the voices and needs of people living with tinnitus
* Ensure our services continue to deliver high-quality, evidence-based support and measurable impact
About you
We are looking for a strategic and collaborative leader with:
* Senior leadership experience, ideally at CEO, Director or equivalent level
* Experience working with Boards or Trustees
* Strong financial and commercial awareness
* A track record of leading teams and organisational development
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
* Experience of fundraising, partnership development or income generation
* A commitment to improving outcomes for people affected by tinnitus
* Experience in the charity, health, research or membership sectors would be advantageous.
