Your role is key in ensuring a warm welcome, smooth check-in and check-out, and efficient handling of reservations, guest inquiries, and front desk operations.

Key duties…
* Greet members and guests warmly and professionally on arrival
* Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, following internal protocols
* Manage bookings, cancellations, and room allocations using the hotel's PMS (Property Management System)
* Answer guest questions and resolve complaints or concerns with empathy and discretion
* Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, spa, and other departments to ensure a seamless experience
* Process payments accurately and issue invoices or receipts as required
* Handle phone, email, and in-person inquiries promptly and helpfully
* Keep reception and lobby areas tidy, welcoming, and well-presented
* Maintain guest confidentiality and adhere to GDPR and club data policies
* Assist with wake-up calls, transportation bookings, and general concierge duties as needed

What we are looking for...
A successful Hotel Receptionist for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years' experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You'll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.
* Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role, ideally in hospitality or luxury environments
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel booking systems (e.g.,Opera Cloud)
* Reliable, organised, and well-groomed with a calm, professional manner
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and stay solution-focused
Desirable:
* Experience working in a private members club or boutique hotel
* Multilingual abilities
* Knowledge of local attractions, transportation options, and club amenities
* Driving License
