Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for an Environmental Health & Safety Advisor within the Quality department. Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.
This EHS Advisor position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. In this role, you will work with the Security Manager to ensure the company is compliant with EHS and standards ISO14001 and 45001, Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) and REACH.
Role Responsibilities will include:
1. Interacting with all departmental managers to ensure that the company remains EHS compliant.
2. Controlling the completion of Risk Assessment and completing of Control of Substances Harmful to Health (COSHH) Assessments.
3. Accident reporting and investigation, including KPI reporting to Product Division.
4. Auditing to ISO14001 and 45001 to maintain LHT Group Approval.
5. To create EHS policies for the business in line with UK Law and LHT group requirements.
6. To deliver targets for health & safety implementation and compliance.
7. To develop and introduce Safety Team from cross functions of the business.
8. To assess new substances including set up and maintaining REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation & restriction of Chemicals) requirement.
