We are looking to strengthen our Digital Delivery team with a Regional Information Manager based at our Derby office with hybrid working available.
You will report directly to the Head of Digital Delivery, and your role will drive and lead the Information Management quality assurance process across the Region, supporting project teams to understand how to execute their responsibilities as described in ISO 19650. You will champion the MWHT asset information management process across Engineering and Operations.
Key responsibilities:
* Execute the responsibilities of the Information Management Function as described in ISO 19650, ensuring compliance with client requirements and maintenance of contracted deliverables (Project BEPs and MIDPs).
* Manage the delivery of asset information throughout the project lifecycle, including ownership of the master asset data register and asset data handover process.
* Build and maintain relationships with client IMs.
* Govern the data and information created to enable tools like mView to operate, covering components such as information model parts, graphical data (CAD models, drawings), non-graphical data (attributes, tabular data), and documentation (reports, O&M manuals).
* Engage with clients and suppliers to identify, explore, and challenge their Information Management requirements.
* Support the Project Manager in developing supply chain partners through assessment, training, and upskilling.
* Ensure all parties work to the Project BEP by supporting supply chain members.
* Interface with all project stakeholders to facilitate effective data exchange in suitable formats.
* Provide IM technical support and guidance to project team members.
* Report on project compliance in line with client stage gate processes.
* Establish and maintain reports and metrics to monitor IM success at project and regional levels.
* Assist the Quality Assurance Lead with audits on information delivery.
* Support the management of the Common Data Environment (CDE).
* Help prepare business case documentation and liaise with regional SLT for necessary changes.
* Coordinate information transition from existing to new systems, including data migration for historic projects.
* Maintain good relationships with the Technology and Systems team and contribute to lessons learned, especially regarding the CDE.
* Maximize the benefits of improved IM in areas like Health and Safety, Sustainability, Operations, and Maintenance.
* Coordinate and promote IM best practices within projects and the wider business.
* The role will expand to cover other frameworks in the North Division.

Competencies:
* Technical: Understanding and application of IM according to ISO 19650, related standards, and the Information Protocol. Knowledge of engineering design, delivery, and construction, preferably within Water or Utilities sectors. Delivery of IM processes.
* Behavioural: Ability to engage with staff at all levels, support IM topics, and promote IM process adoption. Self-motivated, eager to learn across technical and engineering disciplines.
Experience:
* Experience as a Project Information Manager for frameworks or large projects.
* Experience managing information in Common Data Environments like ProjectWise, BIM360, Viewpoint (4Projects), Aconex, or similar.
* Experience with 3D review tools such as Autodesk Navisworks or Bentley iTwin is desirable.
Qualifications:
* A certified postgraduate information management qualification is desirable.
* Membership of a professional institution is desirable.
* Individual BIM certification (ISO19650 or BS1192) with a recognized body (e.g., ICE, BSi, BRE) is advantageous.
