We're Hiring: Project Manager Location: Milton Keynes | Division: Projects | Full-Time | Competitive Salary Benefits Based out of Milton Keynes (Olney) one day a week minimum, the rest of the time can be spent working from home with travel nation-wide to sites as and when needed. Our client has a fantastic opportunity within their Projects division for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. If you have a strong electrical background and proven experience delivering high-voltage infrastructure projects within the DNO, IDNO, or ICP sector – particularly in the renewable or embedded generation space – we’d love to hear from you. Role Overview: As a Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle—from design review through to handover and commissioning—ensuring the safe, timely, and compliant delivery of electrical infrastructure projects up to 132kV. You will: * Review project designs and ensure readiness for handover to the construction team * Ensure electrical works comply with relevant standards (DNO G81, BS standards, ERs) * Manage and deliver construction projects from design through to commissioning * Maintain and update the Programme of Works, and communicate key changes * Produce 3-week, monthly, and 3-month look-ahead schedules, identifying key risks and critical path tasks * Oversee site safety and compliance alongside Site Managers and the HSEQ team * Support in the creation of RAMS, QA checks, audits, and Handover Files * Chair technical meetings with internal and external stakeholders including DNOs and client representatives ✅ Key Requirements: * HNC or higher in Electrical or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience * Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction/project delivery within the electrical infrastructure industry * Proven experience in the DNO / IDNO / ICP space, ideally on renewable or embedded generation projects * Strong understanding of switchgear, transformers, substations, generators, and associated systems * Solid background in construction project management, with relevant industry qualifications * Experience working in a NERS-accredited environment * Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation in the construction industry * Strong planning, communication, and leadership skills Why Join? * Work with a leading name in the UK electrical infrastructure sector * Deliver technically challenging and high-value projects * Hybrid working flexibility (where applicable) * Career development and progression opportunities * Supportive, collaborative project and construction team Interested?
