Domestic Cleaner
Cleaning of hospital wards and other clinical areas. Ensure infection control policies are adhered to, maintaining highest standards of cleanliness. Responsible for removal of general, recycling and clinical waste. Safe use of cleaning equipment, liaise with ward and departmental staff, colleagues, line managers and patients. May support catering department as needed. The role involves performing the above duties.
Responsibilities
* Cleaning of hospital wards and other clinical areas.
* Ensure adherence to infection control policies.
* Removal of general, recycling, and clinical waste.
* Safe use of cleaning equipment.
* Liaise with ward and departmental staff, line managers and patients.
* Support catering department where necessary.
Qualifications and Experience
* Full UK driving licence.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Good communicator capable of following instructions.
* Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
* Experience in a domestic or similar role.
Job Details
Location: Seaford MC - BN25 1DH, Peacehaven - BN10 8NF and Newhaven - BN9 9H.
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour.
Shift Patterns: Bank hours.
Job Type: Temporary.
